Hornby committee makes riparian regulation its top work priority
The committee requested early referral of draft bylaws and moved riparian mapping and implementation ahead of its official plan and land-use bylaw review.

The Hornby Island Local Trust Committee requested that staff conduct early referral of draft bylaws to implement Riparian Areas Regulation with relevant agencies. The motion carried. [1]
The committee also made Riparian Areas Regulation mapping and implementation its No. 1 work-program item, with the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw Review as No. 2. The motion carried. [1]
Planner Rob Milne said he planned to post the draft bylaws to the website for public information. Trustees also requested that staff correct Workplan Overview dates from 2014 to 2015. [1]
The committee met on October 10 at Room to Grow, and there was no public in attendance. [1]
